Our experience and capabilities help our clients mitigate risk, increase reliability, and improve operational and energy efficiency and effectiveness. To that end, we have included a list of our project credentials. | GGS Data Center ProjectsGGS was responsible for FMCS design, electrical design and field installation supervision, and complete implementation of all instrumentation, control and monitoring systems for the Data Center HVAC, Building Automation, 5MW Cogeneration / Turbine BOP Facility, and Energy Management applications for the US HQ of a leading Fortune 50 energy provider. Technologies utilized included fully redundant BMS, BCS, Network, and Supervisory control and monitoring applications. It is one of the first Platinum LEEDS certified facilities of its kind in the region. GGS provided electrical and control systems consulting and design services as well as full turnkey implementation of the BMS / BCS Industrial HVAC and Utilities control and monitoring systems for one of the largest L4N2 data centers of its kind installed in the US that year. The industrial Distributed Control System provides over 4000 “hard” I/O of fully redundant, automated operation for the critical facility. This project featured the implementation of a comprehensive FMCS (Building Facilities Monitoring and Control System), Turbine BOP, and Energy Monitoring application for the World Headquarters campus and new corporate Data Center. GGS responsible for FMCS / BMS design, electrical, instrumentation, and control system design, material procurement, and field installation supervision, and implementation of all instrumentation, control and monitoring systems for the campuses’ Data Center HVAC, Building Automation, 5MW Cogeneration / Turbine BOP Facility, and Energy Management applications. GGS provided the turnkey design-build implementation of the HVAC and Utilities control and energy management and monitoring systems for a new Collocation Data Center facility. Technologies utilized included simplex (non-redundant) BAS systems for building / office comfort, and fully redundant Control, Network and Supervisory PLC / HMI technologies for the HVAC critical / systems applications and Power Monitoring systems. GGS provided electrical consulting and design services, control and automation system implementation, and ongoing system and operational support of the central plant and Industrial HVAC and Utilities systems for the new Data Center. GGS provided the turnkey implementation of the HVAC and Utilities control and monitoring systems for a new Collocation Data Center facility. Technologies utilized included simplex (non-redundant) BAS systems for building / office comfort, and fully redundant Control, Network and Supervisory PLC / HMI technologies for the HVAC critical / systems applications and Power Monitoring systems. GGS provided electrical consulting and design services and ongoing system and operational support implementation of the Industrial HVAC and Utilities systems for the existing client Data Center. GGS delivered an integrated, cost-effective switchgear and power systems solution for a major stock trading services data center to enable the client to avoid extensive downtime and capital project expense due to power systems technology obsolescence. The project includes the “live” upgrade of the Power Distribution, Management, and Monitoring SCADA system. All conversions have been done while the data center was fully operational. GGS provided the turnkey implementation of the HVAC and Utilities control and monitoring and Energy Management systems for a new Collocation Data Center facility. Technologies utilized included simplex (non-redundant) BAS systems for building / office comfort, and fully redundant Control, Network and Supervisory PLC / HMI technologies for the HVAC critical / systems applications and Power Monitoring systems. |
